Martha's journey in tax began during her third tour in the US Navy, where her involvement in Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sparked a passion for tax work. Her professional journey encompasses diverse roles in firms of varying sizes, starting at a Big 6 (back when there were 6 firms) right after grad school, followed by a few other firms until she found her home at The Caglioti Group, before becoming an integral part of the Stephano Slack team. Over her 30-year career, Martha has honed her expertise in individual tax compliance, focusing on intricate cases involving multi-state scenarios and high net worth individuals. Her skill set extends to managing trusts, handling gift tax returns, and overseeing the preparation of private foundations' 990-PFs. Martha also possesses specialized knowledge in Expat tax returns and associated Equalizations.
Martha attended University of Illinois for BS in Architectural Studies and Temple University for MBA in Accounting.
